Starved To The Point Of Thin Bones, The Dog Burst Into Tears When He Heard Someone Came To Help Him
Left on the roadside to starve, this poor hound was discovered in a state of panic and distress. Emaciated and unable to stand, she weighed less than 4 kg, a fraction of what a healthy adult hound should weigh. It was heartbreaking to see how cruelly life had treated her.
Despite her frailty, the dog initially resisted our efforts to help, displaying aggression born from past trauma. With teamwork and patience, we managed to bring her to the rescue center safely. Her defensive demeanor didn’t deter us; instead, it strengthened our resolve to earn her trust.
During the first few days, she wore a muzzle for safety while receiving nourishment and medication. Gradually, under constant care and affection, a remarkable change began. Within two weeks, the once hostile dog transformed into a friendly and sociable companion. She started eating normally and regained some of her lost weight, demonstrating the power of love to heal wounds and restore faith.
This journey with the hound reaffirmed that with compassion and dedication, even the most damaged souls can find hope and redemption. She taught us that despite past hardships, resilience and trust can be rebuilt. Under our watchful care, she blossomed, proving that love indeed has the power to change everything.
