Closing His Eyes, The Ailing Homeless Dog Felt Safety And Warmth For The First Time, Finally Knowing He Was Secure
Hope For Paws received a call about an ill homeless dog that was living on the border between the United States of America and Mexico. The dog was in urgent need of medical attention and was living on the border.
When the rescuers got to the site, they spoke with the guy who had phoned them and learned that the homeless dog had taken a fancy to the man’s pets and remained in the area. Despite the fact that the guy made a concerted effort to feed the puppy as frequently as possible, the dog need a great deal more than simply food.
First, the rescuers used food to entice him, and then they wrapped a leash around his neck. Their decision was to give this adorable puppy the name “Pax.”
Without exerting any struggle, Pax allowed them to take him up and put him in their vehicle. It brought him delight and a sense of relief to be saved at last.
They transported him to the veterinary hospital, where he was treated for his various maladies, including skin infections, infections of the ears and eyes, manage injuries, and open wounds.
He allowed them to treat him and also let them give him a medicinal bath to help his skin recover. He was quite cooperative and allowed them to do all of these things.
Almost immediately after that, the Forgotten Dog Foundation provided assistance to Pax in locating the ideal permanent home! Pax has really made a full recovery from his wounds, and his fur has grown back in. It seems as though he is a really handsome dog, and he is overjoyed to be with his new family that can provide him with care.
